Our Story

In 2014, Jason Delis joined Haitian-American Stanley Dumornay on a humanitarian trip to Haiti. One sweltering afternoon, Stanley handed Jason a small jar of Manba, Haiti’s traditional peanut butter spiced with scotch bonnet peppers. Skeptical but curious, Jason took it home to Montreal. One taste and his world shifted. The perfect harmony of creamy peanuts and fiery peppers — it was unlike any food he’d tried before.
In 2015, Jason and Stanley launched Dumornay Delis to share Manba with Canada. Now in the United States, Stanley has teamed up with childhood friend Leonce Jean-Baptiste to form Oulala and spread the same bold, deep-rooted Haitian tradition that started it all. One jar at a time.
